Dhaka, Aug 11 Ramadan will be starting from Thursday as the moon was sighted from various sites of the country.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Moon-sighting Committee following the Maghrib prayers on Wednesday.
The meeting presided by state minister for religious affairs and the chairman of the committee Mohammad Shahjahan Miah started at 7.15pm in the conference room of Islamic Foundation at the Baitul Mukarram national mosque.
